MFT October Release Rewind

Hello friends!! Welcome to October's Release Rewind for My Favorite Things. You can check out all the new products that were released last week right HERE. Today and tomorrow the Design Team will be taking a look back at this month's release and showing some more projects to inspire you.

Every month, there are always a few things that I just didn't have time to explore during Teasers, and this month was no exception.  I recently purchased some Wink of Stella markers after trying one at a crop I attended.  I was hooked and thought they would work great with the Sunny Day Doodles line of stamps.  On this card I used a few markers with the Christmas tree from Sweet Christmas.

Love the sparkle that these markers give!!!  Such a perfect pair with these stamps, too!  I love the images in Sweet Christmas.  I stamped the image on a Pierced Traditional Tag STAX die cut.  I also used the largest tag in that Die-namics set to create a border for the polka dot paper.  A sentiment from this month's free stamp set with a $60 purchase, Cheerful Christmas Greetings was stamped in Nightshift Blue ink.  Here is a different angle of that sparkly tree.

I added some red Stickles to the ornaments on the tree and some faux stitching around the tree with a white gel pen.  Here are all the products from the MFT Boutique that I used in the making of this card.

Next up is a card I made using the Snow Globe Die-namics.  There was no way I was going to let this awesome Die-namics pass by my desk this month :)

This was such a fun set to use!  The sentiment is from Grand Holiday Greetings and was stamped in Timber Green ink.  I used all the elements in the Snow Globe Die-namics plus the Tree Lines Die-namics and Falling Snowflakes Die-namics.  The Tree Lines were cut from Smooth White and the new Timber Green card stock.  The Sno Cone circle was cut with the Falling Snowflakes Die-namics and mounted on a Smooth White circle.  I added a bit of dimension to the Kraft base by folding on the embossed lines.  Here is a closer look.

Here are the MFT products I used for this card.

Well that is all from me today.  Be sure to check the MFT blog for all the designers participating in today's Release Rewind post.  Check out the Brand New Department to see all the new products released by My Favorite Things this month. Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!
