Take Note...MFT New Product Tour

Hello!!! The My Favorite Things September release is live :)   All the new products we have been teasing you with over the past week are now available in the Brand New Department of the MFT Boutique. Before you shop, the Design Team has some more inspiration to share with you. Check the MFT Blog for links to all the designers participating in tonight's New Product Tour.

I have the pleasure of sharing some layouts using Laina Lamb Design Journal It - Take Note (and LOTS of other goodies too!).  Here is my layout for my Project Life Album documenting some pictures from our vacation last year.

I used Steel Grey, Blu Raspberry, Orange Fizz, and Sour Apple inks with Primitive White card stock.  Here is a close-up of the left hand page.

I also used a few other new stamp sets - Large Scale Backgrounds (free this month with a $60 purchase), Lisa Johnson Designs Textile Backgrounds, & Sunny Day Doodles Celebrate Life.  Here is a close-up of the title card and two 3" x  4" inserts.

The alphabets on the 4" x 6" card are LLD Cooper Alphabet and Typewriter Alphabet.  I used the Speech Bubble Frame in Steel Grey over a Primitive White Insert It - 3x4 die cut for the "our week" card.  I quickly colored the sentiment from Celebrate Life in with some colored pencils.  "2012" was stamped in Blu Raspberry with the LLD Max Alphabet, and "August" is from Journal It - Calendar Basics.  The lined card was stamped with images from the new Journal It - Take Note stamp set.  Here's a look at the other two 3"x4" cards on this page of the layout.

The backgrounds are from Textile Backgrounds and Large Scale Backgrounds.  The camera was die cut from Steel Grey card stock using the LLD Accent It - Cute Cameras Die-namics.  "FUN" is part of the LLD Document It - Hello My Name Is stamp  set.  The solid Steel Grey line is from Plaid Builder Background.  Here is a look at the journaling card.

A sentiment from Sunny Day Doodles Celebrate Life was stamped in Sweet Tooth ink on a Steel Grey Pierced Circle STAX die cut.  The image from LJD Textile Backgrounds was repeated in Sour Apple, Orange Fizz, and Blu Raspberry on this card.  The note pad and paper clip images are from Journal It - Take Note.   Here is a closer look at the right hand page.

And a close-up of that fun 4" x 6" card.

I stamped a Large Scale Background in Blu Raspberry ink and "Recording Memories" from SDD Celebrate Life in Steel Grey ink on a Primitive White panel.  I added a cute row of cameras cut using the Cute Cameras Die-namics and an arrow from Lead the Way in Sour Apple.  Here is a look at the 3" x 4" cards on this side of the layout.

Can you tell I LOVE that Large Scale polka dot pattern!?  The fishtail banner is from the School Days Die-namics.  The journaling card was stamped with images from Journal It - Take Note.  The little arrow is from LLD Document It - Right this Way.

Here are the new MFT products I used on this layout.  Because I used soooo many products I included the links to the previously released products at the end of this post.

Thanks so much for stopping by tonight!!  I hope you enjoyed your visit :)  Be sure to visit the MFT Blog for all the information about tonight's release and links to all the designers posting this evening. And Happy Shopping!!!
