Peek-a-Boo Treats...MFT Teasers Day 3

Hello!!!   The August release at My Favorite Things is coming up next Tuesday night, August 6th, at 10 PM EST.  Today is the third day of  Teaser Time posts.  There are some FUN new products being revealed today, so be sure to check the MFT blog for all the details and links to the designers sharing projects!

I have a couple sets of Halloween goodies to share.  Here is the first using a brand new a la modes - Bewitching along with the Paper Bag Treat Box Die-namics.

You'll also notice that I created a fun plaid background for the card using the Plaid Background Builder revealed yesterday!!!  I am a sucker for creating patterns like this, so was thrilled when I saw this stamp set!  I used Grape Jelly, Orange Fizz, and Black Licorice inks.  Here is a closer look at the card.

I stamped the image in archival ink on Kraft card stock and water colored using my water brush and MFT ink pads.  This was my first attempt EVER at water coloring and I quite enjoyed it!  Definitely not perfect or close to it, but hopefully passable!  The image was cut and matted using the Rectangle STAX Die-namics.  I used the lovely border die from Blueprints 6 Die-namics on this card, and the sentiment was stamped on a Fishtail Flags Layers STAX die cut.

Here is a closer look at the treat box cut from patterned paper with the new Paper Bag Treat Box Die-namics.  I cut the two pieces for the bag first and then used the Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos Die-namics to cut the fun little window with the web in it!  I adhered a piece of wax paper behind it.

The spider is also part of the Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos Die-namics.  Here are direct links to the MFT products I used for the card and treat bag (New product links will be active on August 6th at 10 pm EST.).

Up next is another set - a bit more clean & simple.

I love  how this card came out.  The window was cut with the Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos Die-namics.  The sentiments from Spider Web Sentiments were stamped in Orange Fizz, Grape Jelly, and Black Licorice.

One spider was adhered to the web and the second to the interior of the card.

Here is a look at the Paper Bag Treat Boxes.  I used the new Cooper Alphabet from Laina Lamb Design for the words.

The jack-o-lantern face is the third die included in the Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos Die-namics set!  I backed it with Black Licorice card stock.  The ghosts were cut using the previously released Halloween Charms Die-namics.  Here are direct links to the MFT products I used for this card (New product links will be active on August 6th at 10 pm EST.).

Be sure to visit the MFT Blog for full product reveals, links to all the designers participating in today's Teaser post, and details on how you can win a gift voucher to use at the MFT Boutique!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Such cute projects and I'm amazed at how awesome your plaid background looks. Honestly, I want to try the plaid background set but I'm afraid I'll mess it up somehow. Mine would come out all crooked. Is there a way to make them line up and spaced perfectly?? Great projects!!

Debbie, I hardly know where to begin! "I find it's usually best to begin at the beginning" some famous character in a famous book once said....
LOVE the newsprint bag with the spiders; LOVE the purple and orange plaid, please tell me it took a couple of tries to get it right! LOVE you used the "bag die" on a card - totally love that! LOVE the "simple" bags in purple and orange, we don't have a lot of kids in the neighborhood and I'm seriously thinking of making these for everyone! THANK YOU!!
