Contemporary Roses...MFT Teasers Day 4

Hello!!! The September release at My Favorite Things is right around the corner!!!  You'll be able to purchase all the Brand New goodies right HERE at 10 PM EST this coming Tuesday. Today is the fourth day of Teaser Time posts. Be sure to check the MFT blog for all the product reveals, details on how to enter to win a fantastic prize, and links to the designers sharing projects today!

I have two cards to share today using Contemporary Roses, a new set from Mona Pendleton Designs.  Here is my first card.

I also used a new set from Lisa Johnson Designs - Textile Backgrounds.  I stamped the pattern in Steel Grey ink.  The rose was stamped in the new Cotton Candy ink and the shade image in Steel Grey ink.  The leaves were stamped in Limeade ink.  The border was cut from Steel Grey card stock using the Triple Scallop Borders Die-namics.  Incidentally these are a snap to line up.  Each stamp has an acyrlic "point" for use in lining up.  I just positioned the stamps on my blocks with the point at 12 o'clock :)  Here is a closer look at the rose.

Here are the MFT products I used on this card (product links for the September release items will be active on September 3rd at 10 pm EST).

For my next card  I used Contemporary Roses to stamp some background paper.  Colors are Banana Split, Cotton Candy, & Gumdrop Green.

I also stamped the diagonal striped paper in the background using the Plaid Background Builder stamp set and Steel Grey ink.  Here are the MFT products I used on this card (product links for the September release items will be active on September 3rd at 10 pm EST).

Be sure to visit the MFT Blog for full product reveals, links to all the designers participating in today's Teaser post, and details on how you can win a gift voucher to use at the MFT Boutique! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
