Celebrate...MFT July Release Rewind

Hello!!   Welcome to this month's Release Rewind for My Favorite Things. You can check out all the new products that were released last week right HERE.  Today and tomorrow the Design Team will be taking a look back at this month's release and showing more artwork.

I have three cards to share today.  I will start with the simplest.

This very easily could have been a one layer card, but I added a Red Hot mat on a Black Licorice card stock just because :)  The banners from Lisa Johnson Designs Bitty Banners were stamped in Banana Split, Berrylicious, and Red Hot inks, as were the streamers.  The sentiment is from Lisa Johnson Designs Birthday Greetings and was stamped in Black Licorice ink.  Here are links to all the products I used for this card.

Up next is a cute card featuring Pure Innocence - Crafty Friends.

I thought this image would look so cute embossed in white on a black panel :)  I used the previously released Abstract Art stamp set to stamp the background in Tangy Orange, Banana Split, and Berrylicious.  I used the Blueprints 5 Die-namics for all the panels on this card, including the sentiment.  The scissors are from Sew Nifty Die-namics and were pieced from Steel Blue and Tangy Orange card stock.  Here is another look.

Here are the products I used on this card.

For my final card, I revisited the technique I used with the Dispersed Dots Die-namics on the first day of Teasers.  Instead of using re-inkers to create the background peeking through the dots, I used a few gelatos.

I covered a piece of smooth white card stock with random dots using three colors of gelatos and blended the colors with a water brush.  Along the bottom edge, I colored wide stripes and blended those.  Celebrate is from the Laina Lamb Design Accent It - Celebrate Die-namics.  Here is another look.

Here are the products I used on this card.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to check the MFT blog for all the designers participating in today's Release Rewind post.  Check out the Brand Spankin' New Department to see all the goodies released this month.  Have a great day!

soooo great, Debbie. LOVE the first one and the great details you added with just the stamps. The little scissors on the second one is a fun detail! and the artsy background of the second one is so cool peeking out from those circles.
