Blooming Roses...MFT Teasers

Hello!!!  Welcome to the second day of Teaser Time for the June release from My Favorite Things.  All the new goodies you see today will be available next Tuesday, June 11th, at 10 PM EST in the Brand Spankin' New department.  We have another great day of inspiration today so be sure to check the MFT Blog for links to all the designers participating in today's Teaser post.

One of the sets being introduced today is Blooming Roses from Mona Pendleton Designs, and there is a companion Die-namics available as well - Rose Bouquet Die-namics.  Here is a card I made using this gorgeous new set from Mona.

I loved stamping these roses!  I used Pink Lemonade ink for the base image and the new Bubblegum ink pad for the second layer for shading.  Once I practiced a couple times on scratch paper, lining the images up was really easy :)  I die cut the roses and leaves using the Rose Bouquet Die-namics.  I created the background using a new stencil from Mona Pendleton Designs - Graduated Diamonds.  I lined the stencil up with my piece of Natural card stock and sponged Kraft ink over the stencil.  The edges were also sponged with white ink.  The sentiment is from Blissful Butterflies, a new set from Lisa Johnson Designs.  Here is a closer look at those roses.

The roses were layered over an Heirloom Label that was stamped with one of the backgrounds from Art Expression Text, another new set being released in June.

Here are links to the MFT products I used for this card (New product links will be active on June 11 at 10 pm EST.).

Be sure to visit the MFT Blog for full product reveals, links to all the designers, and details on how you can win a gift voucher to use at the MFT Boutique!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!
