Introducing Blueprints 2 Die-namics!!!

Hello!!  Thanks for stopping by today :)  Today is the first day of the New Product Tour for the My Favorite Things April release.  Check out all the details about prizes, release week posts, and inspiration on the MFT Blog.  All the new stamp sets and Die-namics that are being previewed will be available for purchase on April 9th at 10 pm EST in the Brand Spankin' New Department at the MFT Boutique.

Today I am sharing some cards I made using the second installment in the Blueprints Die-namics collection - Blueprints 2.  As with the Blueprints 1 Die-namics, there is a PDF of four great sketches to go along with the  Die-namics.  Your cards will come together in a snap!  I used the sketches for my cards today, but of course you can create your own patterns, too!  Here is my first card.

The Blueprints 2 has some really fun elements!!  Love that divided frame with the paper weaving!  I couldn't let the release go by without using the fantastic Bicycle Die-namics!!!  The sentiment is from Document It - Expand Your View.  I cut the bicycle from some woodgrain patterned paper and glued it to a bicycle that I cut from Sweet Tooth cardstock to give it a little extra stability.    Here is a closer look.

I used Wild Cherry cardstock for the stitched cardstock strips and Black Licorice for the frame and card base.  Here are all the MFT products I used for this card.  New product links will not be active until April 9th at 10pm EST.

For my next card I thought it would be fun to frame a Pure Innocence image using the Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I chose the new Pure Innocence - Little Gardener.

I stamped the Kraft frame with the woodgrain from Western Backgrounds in white pigment ink and popped it up over my image.  The image was stamped on X-Press It Blending card and colored with Copics.  I stamped the Kraft background and Lemon Drop strip with the chevron border from Mod Borders.  I also stamped the rainbow of colors with the same border and filled the frame in a rainbow pattern.  Here is a closer look.

I stamped the sentiment on the stitched fishtail banner from the Blueprints 2 Die-namics and added two Sweet Tooth buttons threaded with twine.  Here are the MFT products I used for this card.  New product links will not be active until April 9th at 10pm EST.

I have one last project to share with you today.   I used Lisa Johnson's latest set, Sweet Roses, for this gift set.

I created the background for the card on Smooth White cardstock using Sweet Roses and Distressed Diamonds.  The colors are Pink Lemonade and Kraft with a touch of the new Factory Green.  The diamond pattern was stamped in second generation Kraft ink for a more subtle coverage.  I also stamped  one of the Rose outlines in Pink Lemonade ink on the sentiment panel.  I added a couple pink sparkles to the eyelet like die cuts.  Here is a closer look.

Here is a closer look at the Scalloped Treat Box which I embellished using Sweet Roses and the coordinating Roses and Leaves Die-namics.

I stamped the outline images on Pink Lemonade die cuts and the sentiment in Hot Fudge ink on a Designer Labels 2 STAX die cut.  The flourish was cut from the new Factory Green cardstock using the Leaf Filled Flourish Die-namics.  I stamped the box with the Chevron border from Mod Borders prior to assembling the box.  Here are all the MFT products I used for this set.  New product links will not be active until April 9th at 10pm EST.

Be sure to check the MFT blog for all the details about tomorrow's release, how to enter for a chance to win the fabulous teaser time prizes, and lots more inspiration from the entire Design Team.  Thanks for stopping by!

Wow! Just WOW! All your cards are so amazing. I love the subtle diamond background on the rose card, the mod borders on the Rooting for you card, and the bicycle one as well. I had thoughts of cutting that bike from some very thin wood sheets I have but your idea might even be better. Less bulk. Thanks for sharing.
