Rock On...MFT New Product Tour

Hello!!! Welcome to the New Product Tour for the My Favorite Things March release!! All the new stamps and Die-namics we have been teasing you with are now available in the Brand Spankin' New department on the MFT site!    Before you start shopping, the Design Team has more artwork to share with you! Each of the MFT designers will be spotlighting one of the newly released stamp sets for you tonight - be sure to check Kim's blog for all the links and details.   Leave some love as you hop around because there is blog candy up for grabs! One of the designers is holding the prize, and it is worth $50!!! You don't know which of us is holding the prize, so get those comments in!! Good luck ;)

Tonight I am featuring one of Laina Lamb Design's new sets - Document It - Rock On.  This set is so fun to stamp with.  Here is a card and bookmark I made for my son's eighth birthday.

Here is a closer look at the card.

I used the Blueprints 1 Die-namics and one of the sketches from the supplied PDF.  I absolutely love this new concept in Die-namics.  In case you missed it, here are the details and a look at the set.

Introducing Blueprints – The Foundation for Your Creativity
Whether you have limited time, or simply need a creative jumpstart; Blueprints is your answer.  A design plan and building blocks in one revolutionary product.  Follow the provided sketches, or mix and match the elements provided to become your own architect.  Leave the heavy lifting to us.

Here is a close-up of the sentiment panel.

I used phrases from both Document It - Rock On and Journal It - Playlist.  The brighter white images were stamped in Versamark ink and then heat embossed in white.  The other images were stamped in white pigment ink (CTMH).  I added a few hand drawn lines with a chalk marker and a frame around the Steel Grey panel with a white gel pen.  I then sponged a bit of the white ink here and there.  I stamped one of the Distressed Diamonds in second generation Black Licorice on the white scalloped panel.  You can also see a couple elements from the new Accent It - Rock and Roll Die-namics.
Die-namics Accent It - Rock and Roll
Here is a close-up of the bookmark made using the Bookmark Duo Die-namics.

The star from Accent It - Rock and Roll fits perfectly on one of the Star STAX die cuts - love that!  I stamped the "EPIC" in Blu Raspberry ink on  a shortened Howdy Frame die cut.  The other phrases were stamped in Black Licorice.  Here are the MFT products I used for this project.

Head over to the MFT blog to see the list of designers participating tonight. Don't forget about that blog candy up for grabs! One of the designers is holding the prize, and it is worth $50!!! Have a fantastic night!! Happy Shopping!
