Off the Chart...MFT New Product Tour

Hello!!! Welcome to the My Favorite Things New Product Tour for the January 2013 release!! All the new stamps and Die-namics you have been ogling are now available in the Brand Spankin' New department on the MFT site!   Before you start shopping, the Design Team has more artwork to share with you! Each of the MFT designers will be spotlighting one of the newly released stamp sets for you tonight - be sure to check Kim's blog for all the links and details.    Leave some love as you hop around because there is blog candy up for grabs! One of the designers is holding the prize, and it is worth $50!!! You don't know which of us is holding the prize, so get those comments in!! Good luck ;)

Tonight I have the pleasure of showing off Document It- Off the Chart, one of the newest offerings from Laina Lamb Design.  I love this set for not only scrapbooking, but so many of the sentiments are perfect for cards!  Here is one card I created using the chalkboard technique.

I had a blast creating this card with images from a few different stamp sets in addition to Document It - Off the Chart.  I have been seeing lots of fantastic creations using the chalkboard technique, and I decided to try my hand at it.  The brightest white images were stamped in Versamark on Black Licorice cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I then stamped a shadow of the embossed images using White Daisy pigment ink (CTMH).  A handful of images were stamped using only the white ink.  I added a bit of doodling using a chalk marker and a frame around the images using a silver metallic pen.  Lastly, I sponged a bit of the white pigment ink on the panel for a bit of chalk dust :)  Two little figures from Boy Meets Girl Die-namics were added for an extra little fun element.  I glued a Steel Grey button to the center of the bow and added a sweet little lock and key from the new Keys and Locks Die-namics.  Here is a closer look at those.

Here is the interior of the card with a sentiment from Journal It - For the Record stamped in Razzle Berry ink.

Here are the products I used for this card.  Clicking on them will open a new window for you in the MFT Boutique.  I listed the newest products first :)

Next up is the first page in my 2013 Project Life album!!!  Woohoo!!  I am all ready to document this year :)

I used LOTS of new (and older) MFT goodies on this page, and I am really happy with how it turned out.  I love this paper from Pebbles - Seen & Noted.  I will go quickly through each section pointing out the highlights :)

I used one of the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX as the base for my title on this card.  "Book Of" is from Coupon Book - Love.  I used the Boy Meets Girl Die-namics for my little family :).  The stitching is from Hearts and Stitches.  The bracket edge was created using the previously released Bracket Edge Duo Die-namics.

Here is a picture I took of the kids during this past week on our backyard ice rink. They were so happy it froze, and I was so happy to get a photo of them all smiling together!!!  I used the Circle STAX set 1 Die-namics to cut an opening in the center of a Heart Doily.  I used the Circle STAX set 2 to make a circle frame for the image.

Phrases from Journal It - For the Record were stamped on the chat bubble paper.  A sentiment from Document It - Captured Memories was stamped on a hexagon cut using the Hexagons Die-namics.  Stamps from Off the Chart were used on the Pie Chart.

For these cards I used the Accent It - Labels and Tabs Die-namics, Keys and Locks Die-namics, and sentiments from Document It - Off the Chart.

For this card I used one of the heart borders from Hearts and Stitches.  I love that little tab from Accent It - Labels and Tabs, and I stamped a couple words from Off the Chart.  Once again I used the Boy Meets Girl Die-namics to make a cute little representation of our family :)  A Red Hot heart cut using the Heart STAX Die-namics makes a fun backdrop for "the kids" - lol!  I also used the Layered Heart Border Die-namics to cut a Sno Cone border.

And lastly for this card the numbers were cut from Black Licorice using By the Numbers Die-namics and the sentiment is from Journal It - For the Record.

Here are all the products I used for this layout with the brand spankin' new listed first.

Thank you so much for hanging out with me for a few minutes!! Head on over to the MFT blog to see the list of designers participating tonight. Don't forget there is blog candy up for grabs! One of the designers is holding the prize, and it is worth a $50 gift voucher!!! Now that is a sweet incentive to leave some love for the Design Team because you never know who is holding the prize!! Have a fantastic night!! Happy Shopping!
