Easter Treats...MFT Teasers Day 1

Hello and welcome to the first day of Teasers for the February release for My Favorite Things!!!  We have such a great release coming up with stamps and Die-namics for just about any stamping style!  Today the Design Team is previewing two new stamp sets from Lisa Johnson Designs - Embellished Eggs and Spring Backgrounds.  I hope you are ready for a taste of Spring :)

For this card I used Embellished Eggs along with the coordinating Die-namics, Easter Elements, and the new Lattice Fence Die-namics.  I have also incorporated a couple of the new inks being released this month - Pink Lemonade and Sour Apple.  Grape Jelly ink is also coming your way :)

The sentiment was stamped in Kraft ink on the little sign from Howdy Frames Die-namics.  I used Joanne's shorten your tab tip to create a shorter sign :)  Lisa has done it again with Embellished Eggs - a fantastic set with sooooo many coordinating images and sentiments in a variety of sizes to add great little details to any project.  Here is the inside of this card stamped with one of the Spring Backgrounds and a sentiment.

There are also two fun new box Die-namics being released this month - the Cone Treat Box and Trapezoid Treat Box.  Up first is the Cone Treat Box, which I used as a carrot :)

The Tangy Orange cardstock was first stamped with the houndstooth pattern from Spring Backgrounds in Sunset ink (CTMH).  I then cut and assembled the box.  To close the box, I simply folded and tucked the flaps into one another.  I adhered the Kraft button and greenery to just one of the flaps so that it does not need to be removed to open or close the box.  By the way, I used the new Large Filled Flourish Die-namics for my greenery :)  I did cut one of the sections off, trim it a bit, and re-adhered it so it would be just a touch more compact :)  Here is another look.

I stamped the chevron pattern from Spring Backgrounds in second generation Sour Apple ink on a Traditional Tag before stamping the sentiment.

Up next is the Trapezoid Treat Box Die-namics.  This is a very cool Die-namics in that it creates a fun box and you can use it together with the Weaved Basket Die-namics to create a 3-D basket!  Here is what I came up with.

The basket/box was cut from Kraft cardstock and inked with Walnut distress ink to accentuate the embossed details. I pulled out my trusty Loopy Bloom Die-namics to create some grass for the basket from Sour Apple cardstock.  I cut three blooms and trimmed off one side to create a fringe. For the interior I cut some of the little peeps and jelly beans from various cardstock colors.  The eggs were cut from Whip Cream cardstock and stamped with Spring Backgrounds.  I also tucked in a couple flowers from Embellished Eggs that didn't make the cut for the card.  Here is a look from the other side.  Those cute bows are also part of the Weaved Basket Die-namics.

Here is a look at all three projects together.

Here are the soon to be released Die-namics I used for today's projects.
