Book of Love...MFT Teasers Day 4

Hello!!! Today marks the fourth day of Teasers for My Favorite Things' January release!!!  I hope you are enjoying the sneak peeks so far :)  Today is going to be a FUN day on the Design Team blogs!!!  We are previewing two new Die-namics combo sets - Coupon Book - Love and Lollipop Additions - Love!!!  The former coordinates with the soon to be released Ticket Book Die-namics and the latter with the previously released Lollipop Treat Die-namics. I used a bit of both in my Coupon Book today.  Here it is.

I absolutely LOVE this Coupon Book concept and really hope there are additional themes in the works!!! I made my eldest son a coupon book for Valentine's Day last year, and let me tell you he LOVED it!!!  It was so cute to see him flip through and decide on the coupon he wanted to redeem!  I made this book with him in mind again and have plans to make one for each of my other children as well :)  I decorated the front with phrases and the heart border from the Coupon Book - Love stamp set.  "Love" was stamped in the new Black Licorice ink on a Fishtail Flag which I cut to be double ended. To do this turn the diecut around in the Die-namics and run it through your die cut machine a second time.  The stitching stamp is from Hearts and Stitches - a new Lisa Johnson Designs set to be released Tuesday.  The little hearts in Sno Cone are the cut outs from the new Layered Heart Border.  Here is a look from the top.

I love this new Ticket Book Die-namics!!!  It includes a cover and ticket insert Die-namics with perforations to tear each ticket out.  After stamping my tickets and decorating the front and back covers (I also covered the interiors of each cover with patterned paper), I used a bit of strong liquid glue to secure the book.  Baker's twine and Whip Cream buttons provide the final bit of security.  You could use ribbon or brads to bind the book, too.  You also could leave out the gluing bit, but I know my son will be carrying this around and checking out the construction so I wanted to make it extra durable :)

Here are the tickets prior to assembling.  I used Coupon Boook - Love, Journal It - Graph Paper Notes, Hearts and Stitches, Vanity License Plate, and Lollipop Additions- Love.

Notice I included two ice creams - he would be thrilled with 7 ice creams - LOL!!  Now here is a look at the back.

I used Lollipop Additions - Love with the previously released Lollipop Treat Die-namics.  The smallest heart in the new Heart STAX Die-namics was perfect to cover up the little holes in the center, too!

Here are the new Die-namics I used for this project.
