Hello!!! Welcome to the first day of Teasers for My Favorite Things' November release!!! We have lots of goodies coming your way this month, including new Paver Red cardstock and replenishments and TWO colors of MFT's brand new ink - Jellybean Green & Wild Cherry!!! Today the Design Team is previewing Stitched Stockings and Darling Dots from Lisa Johnson Designs. I have a card to share using Stitched Stockings.
As usual Lisa has designed a fantastic set with so many fun little coordinating elements to give your projects that extra something special :) For this card I used the layout from retrosketches #36. The plaid paper was cut using the largest of the Designer Labels 2 STAX Die-namics. The Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics cut the perfect layers for the vertical banner. I layered a Decorative Circle Tag Die-namics on top for the sentiment. "LOVE" was stamped in Wild Cherry ink on another Fishtail Flag (cut double sided). The tag was topped with a Whip Cream button tied with hemp cord. Here is the inside of the card.
The border image was stamped in Jellybean Green ink, and the stocking was stamped in Wild Cherry. The stocking was cut using the Stocking Trio Die-namics. I stamped the stocking a second time in Jellybean Green and cut the button out to add to the Wild Cherry stocking. This ink is fantastic!!! It has excellent coverage - you won't be disappointed :)
