Thankful...MFT Teasers Day 4

Hello!!! Welcome to day 4 of Teasers for the My Favorite Things October Release!!  Today the Design Team is featuring Thankful Leaves - an awesome Fall set and a coordinating Die-namics, Fall Leaves, is available!!  I have two cards to share today.  Here is the first one.

I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch as my starting point.  The patterned paper is from Simple Stories - Harvest Lane.  The card front is Kraft cardstock from MFT, the brown and cream from my stash.  I used the rock and roll technique on the leaves - I inked the solid image in one color and rolled the edges of the stamp in a second color, then stamped the image.  The sentiment was stamped on a double ended fish tail flag made using the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics.  I tied some hemp cord in a double bow through a Hot Fudge button.  On the top of the patterned paper panel, I added a blanket stitch with hemp cord.  Here is my second card.

I stamped the leaves using the rock and roll technique once again.  The sentiment was stamped on one of the little labels from Howdy Frames Die-namics.  I used the Banner Strip Die-namics to accent the bottom edge of the corrugated panel and tucked some Hot Fudge grosgrain ribbon under the top.
