Scooting by for WCMD

Hello!!  Happy World Card Making Day!!!  Hope you are doing something creative today.  I won't be at my stamp desk until the evening, but that is okay :)  I do have a fun CAS card to share in honor of the day though.  Here it is.

I just adore this stamp set - You Move Me from My Favorite Things.  I need to pull this set out more often!  I used the Oval STAX Die-namics (set 1 and set 2) to create a perfectly matted oval for my sentiment.  The scooter was stamped and then cut out with the coordinating Die-namics.  The polka dot paper is from My Mind's Eye - School Daze.  The banner was cut using the largest Fishtail Flag STAX Die-namics.  I hand cut the Whip Cream mat for it.   All the cardstock is from MFT.  Here is a look at the inside.

I stamped the same scooter image, the tire print, and zoom.  I intentionally left this card pretty generic - all occasion :)

All of us here at My Favorite Things wish you a Happy World Card Making Day!  Maybe your personal style includes coloring with markers, or possibly you enjoy some fresh and clean stamping. Maybe you simply like creating custom elements with our Die-namics dies.  Whatever it is that you like to do, we only hope that you get a chance to create something special today!  Don’t forget that we also offer an assortment of coordinating Replenishments including cardstock, felt, buttons and ribbon.

Sketches are always a great starting point for a little cardmaking, and we have 92 weeks of sketches available as part of our ongoing Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge. The first year of sketches is available here: MFTsketches1-52, and year two (to date) is available here: MFT Sketches 53-92.

I linked this card up with the World Card Making Day Blog Tour on the Paper Crafts blog.  Be sure to check that out.  Visit the MFT Blog for the list of My Favorite Things Designers participating today, too!

I also want to let any New England peeps know that it is not too late to register for Stamping Around NH!!!  This event is being held in lovely Portsmouth, NH and you can check out all the details HERE.  I am teaching a My Favorite Things class (eeekk!!) and would love to have you join me!  I hope you have a fantastic day!  Thanks for stopping by!
