Howdy!...MFT Teasers Day 1

Hello!!! Welcome to the first day of Teasers for the My Favorite Things October Release!!  We have a very fun release planned this month, so be sure to check back all week for peeks at all the goodies :)Today the Design Team is featuring two new stamp sets from Lisa Johnson Designs - Howdy and Western Backgrounds.  Howdy also has a coordinating Die-namics available - Howdy Frames!!  Here is a card I created using the Howdy stamp set & Howdy Frames Die-namics.

Wouldn't this be great for an invitation to a Cowgirl/boy themed party!!?  I used a Whip Cream card base for this card.  To create the sign, I first die cut it from Kraft cardstock using the Howdy Frames Die-namics, stamped the woodgrain image in Antique Linen distress ink and stamped the sentiment in Walnut distress ink.  The flowers and star were stamped last.  The star border is a new Die-namics - Western Star Border Duo.  The solid layer was cut from Kraft and the star layer was cut from Wild Cherry cardstock.  I stamped the boots in Walnut distress ink on the card base.  The boots were masked and the wire image was stamped in second generation black.  The star over the boot was cut with the Notched Tag Die-namics.  Of course the horseshoe from Country Charms went perfectly with this card :)  The 100% on the pre-printed tab in the patterned paper is also part of the Howdy stamp set.
