I am loving this new Lollipop Treat Die-namics. I am picturing Halloween, Christmas, Birthday party favors, Bridal or Baby Shower favors - so many fabulous possibilities! I went the Halloween route obviously. I am stashing these in a safe place for my trio on Halloween :) Here are close-ups and details of each one.
This one is Steel Grey cardstock. Two sentiments from the Spider Web Stamp Set were masked and stamped in Pebble pigment ink (Amuse), I embellished with webs and a gravestone cut using the Halloween Charms Die-namics. It is hard to see in the photo, but the gravestone has "RIP" embossed. I used an orange button and some Divine Twine as my closure.
For this one, I used orange cardstock and a sentiment from Spider Web once again. The diamond border was cut from Steel Grey cardstock using the Harlequin Die-namics, and the cute ghost is from the Halloween Charms Die-namics. A length of ribbon secures this treat closed.
I used more orange cardstock on this one. This time I stamped a background using the included stamps with the Lollipop Treats Die-namics & Stamp Set. There are also quite a few images to stamp the circle closure with. I chose to use patterned paper for these. The pumpkin and sentiment are from the Primitive Pumpkins Stamp Set from Lisa Johnson Designs. I gave this pumpkin a witch's hat using the Halloween Charms and Black Licorice cardstock. A Steel Grey button and Divine Twine secure this Lollipop Treat.
TIP: Should you choose to use a button for your closure - the holes may be spaced closer together than the holes in the Lollipop Treat Die-namics. You will need to cut a narrow slit between the holes on the toppers and the treat holder to make one long button hole. This will allow you to thread your twine through the button holes :) I used a strong liquid adhesive to glue my button to the project. We don't want any loose buttons rolling around :)
