The Circus is Coming ... MFT Teasers Day 1

Hello!!!  Welcome to the first day of Teasers for the My Favorite Things August Release!!  We have a fantastic release planned :)  Tonight is a little extra special as you will get your first peek at the very first Lisa Johnson Designs set for My Favorite Things - Circus Spectacular Die-namics & Stamp Set!!  You will also get a look at the newest Who's that Girl? - Gets Down to Business.  I have two cards to share, both using Circus Spectacular.

Doesn't this set look fun?  And look at those coordinating Die-namics!!  You won't have to worry about fussy cutting most of the fun elements in this set!  I like to think the monkey escaped from his cage on this card, and the giraffe is keeping an eye on him :)  I also tucked one of the new Lead the Way arrows in Black Licorice on here, too.  Here is a look from a different angle.

I just love the hint of script on the animal silhouettes.  And, there are even little tiny animal names included to stamp on the cage!  So cute!  I used one of the Oval STAX Die-namics set 2 to cut an oval out of patterned paper to anchor the circus cage.  Here is the inside with the seal image and ball.  The same Die-namics can be used to cut out the ball as what was used to cut out the circus tokens on the bottom left of the card front.

My second card is a a bit simpler.

The ticket strip is also a new Die-namics and allows you to make a longer strip of tickets, too!!  I stamped one of the two ticket images included in Circus Spectacular on Sno Cone tickets.  The star was cut from Banana Split cardstock using the Star STAX Die-namics.  I cut the double border on the bottom using the new Double Dot Border Die-namics and stamped the token image in first and second generation black ink.  The ticket strip, elephant, and ball are all popped up on foam dots of increasing thickness.  Here is a look at the inside.

A lion is another animal in this set.  The second ticket image is so fun!!!  Here is a look at Lisa Johnson's first set for MFT and the rest of the Die-namics I used today.
