Masculine Graphic Tee - MFT New Product Tour

Hello!!!  Great news - all the new stamps and Die-namics you have been drooling over for the past week are now available in the Brand Spankin' New department on the MFT site!   But before you start shopping the Design Team has more artwork to share with you!  Welcome to the MFT New Product Tour!!

Tonight I am showcasing the Masculine Graphic Tee Die-namics & Stamp Set, one of the latest in the fantastic line of stamp set & Die-namics duos!!   I absolutely LOVE this set - a fantastic companion to last month's Girly Graphic Tee Die-namics & Stamp Set.  This set has so many great sentiment possibities for the guys!!  I am excited to show you what I have created!!  I went just a bit crazy making this special gift ensemble for a special little boy who turns 5 in August :)

I am so happy with how this turned out.  This set is for my son, Nathan, who has been asking for a Nintendo DS since his older brother got one.  Here is the card with a sentiment totally appropriate for a future gamer - LOL!

The Tee was cut from Sweet Tooth cardstock.  I accented the hem, cuffs, and neck with a Copic marker and stamped the sentiment and image with Brilliance Graphite Black.  I used LOTS of new Die-namics on this card.  I wanted a fun card with lots of shapes :)  I used the Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics to create the base for my focal element.  The black tag is the true size of one of the Die-namics, and I trimmed the red patterned paper tag down to create a matted tag.  I added some stars from the Stars STAX Die-namics. The diamond looking border under the Tee is actually the negative of two passes of the Hexagons Die-namics through my die cutting machine.  Here is a quick how-to.

The piece of cardstock on top is the negative on one pass through my die cutting machine with the strip Hexagons Die-namics.  Position the same Die-namics on the negative as shown and secure with removable tape.  The diamond border on the bottom is the result of a second pass through my die cutting machine!  Cool :)  Love getting more use out of one Die-namics!!

I used a Designer Labels 2 STAX Die-namics for the element clipped at the top of the tag.

Here is a look at the layering I did using the Notched Border Die-namics and Hexagons Die-namics.  I love that you can mat the Notched Border with a second die cut.  I layered two matted Notched Borders under a Hexagon strip for a fun geometric border.

Here is the inside of the card with two more sentiments from the Masculine Graphic Tee Stamp Set.  This set is so awesome with lots of words and phrases to combine for just the right sentiment.  I used the Tee Die-namics with patterned paper for a fun shirt.  The Sweet Tooth square was cut using the Square STAX Die-namics.  More Stars and some of the individual Hexagons finish the inside.  The base for this card is Black Licorice heavyweight cardstock which makes wonderful card bases.

Up next is the small $1 bin tin I altered.  The lid was a very bright blue so I painted the sides with some white paint prior to covering.  I stamped a sentiment from Masculine Graphic Tee on a Sweet Tooth Traditional Tag.  I adhered some patterned paper to the lid of the tin, added a Hexagons border and the sentiment tag.  I layered a Black Licorice tag with a star on top.  I finished off with some of the same round studs I used on my card.

And here is the inside of the tin - a button tic tac toe board!  I adhered magnets to the back of the buttons.  I used the Notched Border Die-namics to create the borders and the smallest of the Square STAX Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth cardstock as the squares for the grid layered on a Black Licorice base.

Moving on to the lunch box.  This also has a fun surprise inside, but first I will show you the exterior.  Here is one side.  See that lightning bolt - another great image in the Masculine Graphic Tee Die-namics & Stamp Set.  I overstamped the bolt with another sentiment from the set.

I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics to create the banners under the Tee.

To accent the top corner, I used a couple Stars and a Designer Labels 2.

Here is the other side of the lunch box.  I used the Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics and Stars STAX Die-namics to create the back drop for the sentiment.  The tag is topped with a hexagon and a Hexagon border finishes off this side.

Here is a close-up of the sentiment I created using By the Letters Uppercase, Fishtail Flags, and a stamped sentiment from Masculine Graphic Tee.

And here is the surprise...

A set of magnetic letters and numbers!!!  I cut thin magnet sheets with the  By the Letters Uppercase, By the Letters, and By the Numbers.  I stamped the letters and numbers in three colors with different patterns from the By the Numbers stamp set

Of course I needed a gift bag to put everything in!  Here is a look at the decorated gift bag.  I decorated it very simply with a piece of patterned paper, a few rows of Hexagons, and the largest of the Star STAX.

Here is a closer look at the tag.  I used the largest of the Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics for the  Black Licorice tag and layered the next size tag cut from patterned paper on top.  The tab at the top is one of the Designer Labels 2 folded over.  A sentiment was stamped on the Masculine Tee and a square, star, & single hexagon added as layered elements to the tag.  I also tucked a piece of the Notched Border under there, too :)  A binder clip secures it right to the bag.

I hope you enjoyed the little tour I have given you of the Masculine Graphic Tee Die-namics & Stamp Set.  I think my son is going to flip when he receives this!!  All my children know how much Mom loves her papercrafts, so they know when to ooh and ahh!

Here are all the new Die-namics I used today.  They are clickable to take you to that product in the MFT Boutique.
