Spread Your Wings - MFTWSC64

Hello, everyone!! Hope you are all having a fantastic week.  It is hump day, so time for another installment of My Favorite Things' Wednesday Stamp Club, MFTWSC64.  Every Wednesday there is a new sketch for you to play along with.  You can check Kim's blog for a full list of the MFT Designers providing the inspiration.  All the details can be found in the MFT forum on SCS - just look for the most recent WSC thread.  Upload your card to the SCS gallery using the keyword MFTWSC64.  You will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money.   For my card this week, I used Inspired by Birds.

That lovely paper is from the Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks paper pad from MME.  I paper pieced the bird on another pattern for an easy focal image :)  The rose was made from Puff Cloud White felt using the Royal Rose Die-namics.  I cut two and rolled them together for a fuller rose.  I added a Mini Monarch Border in garden green (CTMH).   The crochet trim and sea moss seam binding are both from The Ribbon Carousel.  Here is a peek at the inside.

I used the Oval STAX set 1 & 2 Die-namics and the Oval Dainty Doily Die-namics for the sentiment.  I also stitched on another length of the Mini Monarch Border.  Here is the sketch and the Die-namics I used on my card this week.

For lots more inspiration using this sketch, head on over to Kim's blog for a full list of the MFT Designers participating today. I hope you will play along with us this week :)  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Wow Debbie, you showcase such stunning papers on your beautiful cards. I love all the little D ring embellishment on the Centre panel :0)
I wanted to ask if you have kept the clear plastic on your nesting oval it really necessary ? I cannot see it would be a problem without them unless you know otherwise? Tey will not stay on the magnetic sheet either with the plastic!
