Hello!! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. It was my oldest son's 7th birthday yesterday so we had a weekend full of birthday fun!!! He was so excited, and it was so nice to see him so unabashedly happy!! Love those moments :) It is time again for another fabulous Mojo Monday sketch. This week is sketch #234 and it is the last week of March so you get to choose round or square. I went with a square and used a variety of goodies for this card.
This was a special order card for a friend who requested a bridal shower card on the formal side. I hope I delivered :) The papers that make up the trio of panels in the background are from Lily Bee Designs - Buttercup which just arrived at my doorstep from The Ribbon Carousel. The center panel is paper from the Paper Heart collection from Crate Paper. That lovely sentiment is from the Love Story stamp set from Verve. Those gorgeous roses are from the Rosy Posey stamp set from Taylored Expressions cut with the coordinating Rosy Posey Die set. I stamped the rose image in Versamark, heat embossed using white embossing powder, and sponged some Crystal Blue ink from CTMH for color. I was inspired by this gorgeous card of Amy Kolling's. Here is a detail shot.
I tucked some gorgeous white cluny crochet trim from the Ribbon Carousel and the Mini Monarch Border from MFT behind the sentiment panel for some texture. The inside is stamped with another sentiment from the Love Story stamp set.
