Hello!! It is time for another installment of My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club, the 54th sketch and 2nd sketch of 2012. Did you happen to see all the prizes given away to participants of the sketches for 2011? Wow, talk about some fantastic prizes and the generosity of MFT. So, be sure to play along this year ;) This week's sketch is a fun one. I used the new At the Movies stamp set and die-namics for this card.
I split the main image panel into two tilted panels and moved the flag to the left side. I stamped Who's that Parisian Girl on vellum and colored her in shades of gray with Copic markers to create a black and white film strip. The sentiment is from At the Movies, as are the heart and star. I also stamped one of the Eiffel Tower images from Who's that Parisian Girl on the sentiment panel. I added a Crown Border to the top edge of the bottom panel. I created a pocket by stitching the bottom panel onto my card base only around the outside edges. I was able to slip the film strips in and shift them around until I liked the arrangement. Liquid adhesive is perfect for this because you have a bit of time before it dries to move things around. Then the flag was slipped in. The flag from Mini Wavy Pennants was topped with a heart from the Notched Tag die-namics.
Here is the sketch and the die-namics I used for this card.
