MFT Teaser Time Day 1 - Who's that Girl

Hello!! Today marks the beginning of Teasers for the upcoming My Favorite Things release. You may remember me mentioning that I am thrilled to be the Guest Designer this month :). For Day 1, we are featuring the fantastic "Who's that Girl Gets Cozy with Cocoa" stamp set. I made a card and coordinating gift of cocoa mix with this set.

Here is a closer look at the card.  The image is paper pieced with the exception of the mug and background which were colored with Copics. You may have noticed a new Die-namics on my project - the wonky scallop border. I used two white felt die cuts edge to edge to create a fun wide border - kind of reminds me of the mounds of whipped cream you might enjoy on your cocoa :). The sentiment is stamped on the oval tab die-namics.

And the inside.  I used some liquid applique for the marshmallows on both the front and inside of the card.

The tag is the die-namics from the "Tag You're It" set.

Here are all the die-namics I used for this project.

Here are the details about the upcoming release on November 1 at 10 PM EST:

Debbie, this gift and card set is fantastic!! I LOVE the cocoa theme--using liquid applique for marshmallows was brilliant. Fun colors for a wintery project, too. Now I need to go make myself some hot chocolate--the weather is just right for it, right??
