You're My Hero

Hello!!  I received a whole bunch of new My Favorite Things goodies Saturday, and couldn't wait to get inky :)  I started with Wednesday Stamp Club sketch #36 and the new a la mode - Blue Without You.  Seeing as how my DH is a soldier (and police officer), I thought this was a fitting way to go :)  Not to mention, I was feeling a bit emotional and patriotic because of September 11th....

Yes, I am still practicing my Copic coloring - so be gentle on me :)  The striped paper is years old from Crate Paper.  The dog tag and stars were cut from a coffee cup sleeve.  That is about all I have to say about this one.  Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Oh, this is so cute, Debbie!! You have such an eye for color--as usual, this one knocks my socks off. Love the dog tag, especially since you cut it from a coffee cup sleeve! A recycling gal after my own heart. :) Looking forward to Wednesday!!!
