Mojo Monday #201

Good Day!!  This week is the last week in July!!!  Wow!  In Mojo Monday land that means it is Round or Square week :)  This week's sketch is brought to us by the wonderfully talented Stephanie Kraft.  I chose a round card this time to switch it up a bit :)

I used my Grand Nestabilities circles to make the card base.  Notice I did not say scalloped circles?  See, those bad boys cost a pretty penny for a set, so I only have a couple - standard circles and labels one.   I made the scalloped circle using the second smallest circle die and my corner rounder with the guard removed.  It works perfectly with just a bit of a cover up needed at the end (I tied my ribbon around it).  The papers are from Graphic 45, and the stamps are Verve.  I made the flower with some pleated ribbon from May Arts.  The lovely seam binding is from The Ribbon Carousel, check out all the colors they have!

Don't forget to check out what the rest of the Mojo Makers have to inspire you & then upload your creation at the Mojo Monday blog. I am also entering this card for the Color Splash challenge at The Play Date Cafe (PDCC91) which ends tomorrow.  I'd love if you came back sometime after 2 pm EDT today to take a peek at my Round 3 card for Gallery Idol!!  I am so beyond excited to have made it this far in the company of such awe inspiring designers!!  What a ride it has been :)  Thanks for stopping by.   Have a great day!

Hi Debbie,

Your card is STUNNING and I have taken inspiration from it. I will upload later this evening. I think your flower is incredible - do you have a tutorial for this somewhere? I'd love to make one like this.

You certainly have a gift for putting cards together, always a treat for the eye.

FABULOUSLY gorgeous card, my dear! That flower is FANTASTIC and the sketch is perfect! The sentiment is one of my very favorite Verve sayings...says so much in such few words! AWESOME as usual!! (CAPS LOCK means I really LOVE it...FYI)
