July SFYTT Part 2

Hello, there! I have my second installment as the Designer of the Month for July's SFYTT.  My Favorite Things is the sponsor, and I was lucky enough to receive the Banner Day dies and Notched tag die/stamp set. I have used both of these on my card today, along with a sentiment from Polka Dot Greetings.  I flipped the sketch so the top became the bottom :)

See that sweet layered banner - love it!!! There is also a Fishtail banner available (which of course I HTT, too.)  The little birds and flowers were cut from felt with two of the Die-namics that come as part of the Notched tag set. These are so awesome to have, and they layer on the pennants perfectly!! The flowers were made using the Mini rolled roses and Rolled Daisy Die-namics. Can you tell I love dies? The daisy was finished off with an antique brad from CTMH. The polka dot & floral paper are from Echo Park - For the Record. The grid paper is from Pink Paislee - Hometown Summer.  A close-up of the sweet rolled flowers.

I am going to swing by the MFT forum at Splitcoast Stampers to link up with the creative challenge the Design Team has going on - On a Roll.  I have rolled flowers and I rolled the tips of the pennants and the punched leaves are curled up, too - I think that counts. That's all for today, folks :). Have a great day and if you haven't voted in Gallery Idol 2011 - check it out! The month isn't even half over so there is still plenty of time to play along with SFYTT!  Hope to see your projects over there!  Thanks for stopping by!

SFYTT Challenge details:
1. The SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY {SFYTT} will be posted on the first Saturday of each month on at 8am EST and will stay open to participants until the last day of the month, unless otherwise noted.
2. This is for fun! Interpret the sketch as you wish and embellish as desired. There are no vendor restrictions, but we would love to see you use the sponsor’s stamps!
3. Each month we will have a Designer of the Month that will be chosen from past month’s participants.
4. Come and play with us on each and every sketch! On Christmas Day 2011 a prize package worth over $200 will be given away to one very lucky and loyal SFYTT stamper that participates in EVERY sketch for the year.
5. To be eligible for the prize package, you must complete ALL of the sketches by each of the deadlines AND link your creation to the link system on that month’s sketch post (the first Saturday of the month). Everyone except for SFYTT Sisters are eligible for the prize package, including Designer of the Month and international players.
6. When posting your sketch creation on your blog, please post the sketch and link back to the sketch post on When posting to online galleries, please use the keyword “SFYTT.”
