I'll share the big news first since I am about to burst with excitement!
I am a Mojo Maker - yep, me!! Can't believe it? Well, I almost can't either. When Julee asked me, I was so excited I was literally dancing around my house! Of course it was late at night, kids were in bed & my husband was at work. But, there I was dancing around like my pants were on fire. I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined this 6 months ago when I started blogging. I am super excited in case you can't tell. I absolutely love sketches, & the Mojo Monday sketches in particular are fantastic. If you aren't familiar with them, you should get over there right now to check it out. All the previous sketches are even available for your card making pleasure, & they are a fantastic resource. Anyways, my big debut will be bright & early tomorrow. Stephanie Kraft is joining me as the other newest Mojo Maker. We are joining the current Design Team of Julee Tilman, Maria Gurnsey, Mary Fish, Sarah Bigelow, & Teresa Kline. What a fantastic & uber creative group of women! I feel so incredibly blessed. I hope you find some time to play along with us :)
On to my card to share with you today. I used the Viva la Verve! sketch for the 3rd week of January to create this sweet little baby girl card. I really started out with a CAS card in mind, but as you can see it didn't exactly end up that way!
I used a stamp set from CTMH to stamp the damask background in Baby Pink. The sentiment, hearts, & swirling hearts are all from Verve. I also got to play with a new Martha Stewart border punch I just got today, the Cherish Hearts punch - so sweet!

This card is so elegant!! I love the idea to use a stamp to make the back ground paper, you would never have been able to tell. Congrats on your Mojo Maker status, you sound super excited. You deserve it!
