Pearls & Sparkles : December CTMH Spotlight Blog Hop

Welcome to the Close to My Heart Spotlight Blog Hop for December. This month a fabulous group of consultants is spotlighting a couple of our wonderful little accessories, Pearls & Sparkles. If you have arrived here from Traci's blog, you are on the right track. If you are starting here, I hope you'll hop along with us to see some great artwork. I made a card using a combination of Opaques & Sparkles to highlight different areas of the card.  The pattern is from Wishes - Lucky Layers.

The little trees were cut free hand from B&T, adorned with strips of B&T, & embellished with a combination of clear sparkles, red sparkles, & pearl Opaques.  You can use these to embellish any stamped and/or cut out image.  Bitty sparkles were also used to embellish the strip of ornament B&T.  It is great fun to use sparkles or pearls this way - you can't stop at just one!  Lastly, I used the pearls to call attention to my sentiment & even as the dot on the "i".  The possibilities with these little goodies are endless, and at just $2.95 for a very generous package it is an affordable way to dress up your cards & scrapbook pages.

Thanks for visiting my blog & I hope you enjoyed your visit :)  Check back on the 15th of January for the next hop spotlighting Valentine's ideas.  To continue on this hop, head on over to Jill's blog to see what sparkly goodness she has for you.

If for some reason, you get lost along the way or there is a broken link,  you can see the complete list of participants here at Wendy's blog.

All products from CTMH:  Mistletoe level 2 paper packet, Mistletoe Creative Basics, Cardstock (New England Ivy, Colonial White), Holiday Commentary My Acrylix stamp set (C1379), Exclusive Inks stamp pads (Cocoa, Cranberry), Pearl Opaques, Bitty Sparkles, Clear Sparkles, Red Pink Purple Sparkle assortment, Cocoa grosgrain ribbon

Edited to add:  I am linking this card to Heart 2 Heart challenges.  For the next few weeks, the challenge is Holiday cards.  You know you have them, so get over to this great CTMH challenge blog & enter them :)  You might win a fantastic prize or be in the Friday Five :)
