Mojo Monday #356

Hello & happy Monday!  It is time for a brand new sketch from Mojo Monday.  Here is my card for this week.

I stamped the Confetti Background from MFT using Razzle Berry, Orange Fizz, and Berrylicious inks.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches Birthday Sampler stamp set.  Here's a close-up.

Love the Border It - Numbers as a fun accent on a Birthday card.  To keep the card looking a bit cleaner, I cut the circular element from vellum using the Open Scallop Doily Die-namics.  Here is this week's sketch.

This week is the last week of the month so it is time for another tall & skinny sketch.  My card ended up being 3-3/4" x 5-1/2".  I hope you find some time to play with this sketch this week.  Don't forget to link your creation up at the Mojo Monday blog. Be sure to check out the other Mojo Makers blogs for loads of inspiration. Links can be found in my side bar or at the linky on the Mojo Monday blog. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Garden Birthday card...Mojo #355

Hello!  Hope you had a nice weekend.  We had a relaxing weekend.  I spent most of it at home with my family (actually all of it-lol).  I am LOVING this summer.  My kids are at a great age - they don't need constant care/supervision and I have been able to relax a bit in the pool when they aren't in it splashing up a storm :)  I am also loving the fact that I have very little commitments - family, personal, & crafty!!!  Such a nice change of pace.  I hope you are enjoying your summer (or winter, as the case may be!).

It is time for a brand new Mojo Monday sketch :)  This week's sketch is great and I think you'll like it, too.  Here is my card for sketch #355.

The flowers are from the Summer Garden stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  I masked and stamped with Black Licorice Hybrid ink on watercolor paper.  I used my Distress markers to watercolor the images.  The Woodgrain Background from MFT was stamped in Natural ink on Natural card stock.  The Pinstripe Background was stamped in Black Licorice ink on a Smooth White card base.  That great simple sentiment is from a new company, Altenew, and the set is called Label Love.  I ordered my set from Ellen Hutson when they had a coupon a few weeks back :)  Here is a close-up.

I am still new to this whole water coloring business, so don't judge me too harshly :)  Here is this week's Mojo Monday sketch for your crafting pleasure.

I realize every week when I make my card for Mojo Monday how my style has evolved.  I find myself often leaving layers out (shocking if you have read my blog for awhile!).  That is the great thing about a sketch because you can dress it down or up depending on your style/mood!  I hope you have fun with this week's sketch either way.  Don't forget to link your creation up at the Mojo Monday blog. Thanks so much...Mojo #354

Hello :)  Hope you had a nice weekend.  It is time for a brand new sketch at the Mojo Monday blog.  Here is my card using sketch #354.

I love, love, love this coverplate from Lil' Inker - the Quilted Stitched Pattern die.  It is such an awesome way to add texture to your cards.  For this card, I used it on a Smooth White card base.  The green & aqua card stocks are Pear and Lagoon from CTMH.  I stamped the sentiment from The Big, the Bold and You (winnie & walter) in Smoothie ink (CTMH) and cut it out using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics from MFT.  Here is a closer look.

I used the File Folder Edges Die-namics and Stitched Strips Die-namics for the tabbed strip.  Here is this week's sketch.

I hope you enjoy playing with this week's sketch.  Don't forget to link your creation up at the Mojo Monday blog.  Be sure to check out the other Mojo Makers blogs for loads of inspiration. Links can be found in my side bar or at the linky on the Mojo Monday blog. Thanks so much for stopping by.
